Questions

We know visiting a new church can bring up some questions!

  • Good Friday marks the day Jesus was crucified on the cross—the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. It’s called “Good” because through His death, Jesus made a way for us to be forgiven and restored in our relationship with God.

Our Good Friday service will be a reflective and reverent experience focused on the significance of Jesus’ sacrifice. Then, on Easter Sunday, we celebrate His victory over death!

  • At Harvester, we have lively weekend services that are focused on Jesus, and Easter will be no different. You will experience live music, passionate teaching from the Bible, a time of Communion (open to anyone who believes in Jesus), and prayer.

This Easter, we're exploring the stories of real people who encountered Jesus during that first resurrection weekend. If you've ever had doubt, confusion, or thought "this seems too good to be true," you're not alone. The people who were there that first Easter had those same thoughts—and their lives were forever changed when they met Jesus. Our services will invite you into this conversation.

Good Friday (April 18) - 45 minutes Good Friday services will have more of a somber feel, honoring Jesus' death on the cross. We'll focus on the Roman centurion who witnessed Jesus' crucifixion and came to a life-changing realization about who Jesus truly was.

Easter Weekend (April 19-20) - 60 minutes Easter services will have a celebratory feel, focusing on the women who discovered the empty tomb and became the first messengers of the resurrection. The weekend will include a special time for baptisms—a beautiful act of surrender for people to publicly declare their faith in Jesus.

We encourage you to attend both Good Friday and Easter services if you can! Each offers a unique perspective that helps us understand the full significance of Easter.
